Hello jojofigas7, In addition to updating your VirtualDJ DJC 5 version to VirtualDJ DJC 5.2.1 as suggested by SpinnaJ: 1) Please check your DJ Console Rmx is properly detected on your Mac: run DJ Console Rmx control panel, go to the "About" tab and check the firmware version. If you read "N/A" while your DJ Console Rmx is plugged, it means the DJ Console Rmx is not detected in Mac OS. 2) If you read "N/A" in the control panel, you should re-run DJ Console Rmx driver installation (if you have uninstalled VirtualDJ DJC, it may have removed a part of the Rmx drivers). |

On a MacBook, some device will only work if connected to a specific USB port, which varies depending on the model. This FAQ from the Hercules support site will give you this specific information , as well as a lot of modification you can do to improve the performance of the computer. http://ts.hercules.com/faqs/eng/her_eng_00363.pdf |

farola wrote : Ok but, what about the new macbook (december 2008)? Which one is the usb port i should use? thanks The December 2008 series MAC Book's are the 15" and 13" models. And, as you know; there are only 2 and both are adequately powered. The MAC Book 17" is still the older model with a Memory upgrade to 4Gb as standard. The recommendation of the past for not using the right USB port is still valid. |
