If you never regsitered your software AND you never purchased your software from our website - WE can not help you in Support.

If you purchased it from a retail outlet then you need to contact the distributor ...

If you downloaded a crack and lost it oh well .... buy a license and stop using the crack ...

I have a different issue...I purchased a Hercules MK2 (a year ago) and a Hercules RMX (a few months ago) both on Craigslist, and the serial number for MK2 was registered and RMX serial was lost. I was just wondering whether or not I can get my known Serial Number from MK2 re-registered here? I have all the purchase info and names that could be provided. anyone know if this is possible?

For the used mk2, sorry license is not transferable.

For the rmx, the serial should be on the cd installation sleeve itself. If it is lost u may contact hercules on this but if it is also been already register, sorry again it is the same scenario as the mk2.

U have to purchase vdj pro from this site to obtain the license and to use them good;)

Hope to see u with us soon;)

Well, I have a good enough lite version of VDJ from my Hercules MK2 purchase, so I'll stick to that for a bit, but the hew RMX version looks a bit shady, if you ask me. I like the 3 new skins they have for version 5.2, and I manily mix from my Eee laptop, and just wanted to see how the Eee skin would look like on my screen, since my 800x600 skin from the MK2 console looks like crap. All I'm wondering is how the font is... I might just buy a full version and be happy :)

If you lose the sleeve with the serial number on it, your goose is cooked unless you buy VDJ pro. Another thing I didn't know is that VDJ pro is half price to upgrade from the LE version. It would probably be a good idea for VDJ to promote that more so people are aware, you would probably have more people buying it.

If it came with a hardware console such as Hercules DJ Console or Numark, then you can retrieve the serial by contacting the manufacturer. They should still have a record of it and can retrieve it if you give the serial number off the bottom of the hardware unit itself.

NOTE: You should ALWAYS keep all software and license details that you purchase in a safe place.

The upgrade discount varies depending on what product you already have (E.g: An older Hercules DJ Console MK2 won't give you half price) and the option to upgrade is clearly shown on the Pro purchase page: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html

You need a soundcard that let you connect your 2 Pioneers on it. You may need one with 2 stereo line INs and 2 Stereo Line OUTs. You can use Hercules DJ Trim (USB) or Echo AudioFire4 (Firewire). Also you have to buy VirtualDJ Pro to have all features available.

i lost my serial number too in a move. the problem is i purchased my mk2 with the vinyls and upgraded software from a retailer and they cant help me i cant even get the receipt from them because they keep telling me there system wont go back to the middle of last year.

so i contacted Hercules about the serial number and disc and iv been waiting on a response.

i don't know what to do either because this set up was not cheap you know

and on the bottom of my console there is not a serial number there is a ref number

Hello 90integ,

Hercules tech support may help you with a VirtualDJ DJC serial number (a serial number for a VirtualDJ version which works only with the DJ Console Mk2 connected, but with no support of time code vinyl discs), but Hercules did not sell a version of DJ Console Mk2 with time code vinyl, so if it is the version of Mk2 you have purchased, it is probably a local operation in your area.
As you seem based in North America, you should contact the North America distributor for Hercules Mk2, KaySound.

I have a Numark MixDeck. How do I gain the proper credentials to view the mixdeck support page?

You have to own a legitimate copy of VirtualDJ Professional or Numark Cue. If you have already purchased this, then register the serial number in your profile page for immediate access.

If you haven't, click the "Buy" link at the top ;)

It would be nice if we could all agree on a common policy NOT to start answering questions which are not related to thread's topic (like the CDJ-200 thing, for example). Pointing the user to the approriate forum is sufficient. People need be thaught the proper way of doing things ;)

And yes, I'm fully aware that I'm totally contradicting myself since this post has nothing to do with the thread's original topic.
