Forum: Virtual DJ Radio - Topic: What do I need for a basic cheap VDJ broadcast.

I am looking at some point in the near future to try my hand at netradio dj'ing.

I want to be able to cue songs via headphones and also talk via a mic (obvoiusly :) ).

I have VDJ Home Edition is this ok or do I need the full product to do this.

Can someone list what i would need to get up and running, the cheaper the better as I may not like it although I doubt that would happen :D

Yep i saw that page, but it doesnt have what I need thats just for the broadcast config which I have working.

There is nothing on there about how you setup headphones for cue'ing and the setup of a USB mic while I broadcast.

to preview your songs you need 2 soundcards

If you want a larger crowd, and be on with other DJS, apply to a webradio, like VirtualDJ Radio ( http://radio.virtualdj.com )

Or one, that has more than one stereo out, such as a USB surround card.
