I try to keep tabs of what songs I play the most but VDJ8 is not marking my songs as played is there a setting to sort this out.

Hi Steven, there's 2 ways that might help;
1. Add the field Play Count to your browser section(just right click on the header and select it from the drop down menu)
2. Try out the My library Plugin, it's real good.

And it only registers if the deck fader is above a certain point as well.

Cheers Guys had the fader to low as it was music during the buffet that was not showing.

That''s why I prefer using external mode on the MC6000 so the deck faders in the software are independent of the controller.

Ideally you should be using your master volume to control speaker output level, and keep your fader(s) all the way up when a track's playing.
