I've just bought a Stanton DJC.4 as a backup and it works fine with VDJ 8.2 but there's a large delay between speaking in to the mic and hearing it on the output. I'm running a MacBook Pro so no Asio etc just done direct through the DJC.4. (Channel 3/4)
I've looked at the latency on the audio output settings and they seem fine (10ms) and latency is set to automatic in the main settings. Is there anything else on Mac I need to be checking? Like I said everything else works fine but the mic issue is driving me nuts.
Thanks in advance

If you have included the Mic input in your Audio setup like the last pic of this page shows http://www.virtualdj.com/manuals/hardware/stanton/djc4/advanced.html then you will get latency.
Best way (if dont care recording the Mic) is to exclude the Mic from the Audio setup and let it directly go through the Master Output.

Thanks for the reply DJDad, appreciate it. I have a quad wireless mic unit I was hoping to run through the mic channel (as an aux input on VDJ either deck 3 or 4) with a little reverb and ability to eq for karaoke 1 night a week rather than having to use a separate mixer. Do you know of any Controllers that don't have the extra latency when running the mic through VDJ so I can use the FX?
