Topic: Macbook Pro 2017, DDJSZ, VDJLE8, question
Just installed VDJ LE 8 on my 2017 MacBook Pro. I have Safari and I am using the Pioneer SZ.

Do I need any firmware updates? If so, should I go to VJ in my account to find them or do I need to visit Pioneer Pro DJ?

Thanks!!

No, this is all brand new. New Mac, and I just downloaded VDJ LE 8 from my Virtual DJ account. All is current.

I don't want to use VDJ 2020, so I downloaded the next available which was VDJ LE 8

Would strongly recommend 2020
But up to you of course..

2020 version has had years of improvements, new features, new effects, stems, stability and performance etc

I am just weary of problems. I have no issue going to the new version, but I don't want issues popping up. I can take your word though that it's solid. Do I need to uninstall VDJLE8 or does it just overwrite to the new version (2020)?

Just install 2020
You will even have both versions in your computer

so its no risk in it :) can still run LE

I downloaded the latest Virtual DJ 2020, but I cannot find it on my Mac anywhere. All that keeps showing up is Virtual DJ 8 which I downloaded first. I have a Mac 2017, OS Mojave.

Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just downloaded ? If so in your download folder...
And if installed it might stay say "virtuald 8" at a shortcut that didnt get renamed or similarly

Open the software, look at bottom of license tab in settings, if its say VirtualDJ 2021
