Topic: NS7ii Connection Issue (Windows 11)
Hello,

Recently I starting using my new Asus ROG G533ZW with my Ns7ii and noticed a really huge problem. The controller gets detected with VDJ for a couple of seconds and functions normally, but then at random it will disconnect and the jog wheel will continue to move by itself even though I disconnect it. I've been using this controller with a Windows 10 computer and haven't had any issues. The computer is brand new and has all of the drivers updated including the BIOS.

Is Windows 11 compatible with the Ns7ii drivers, or do I need to downgrade? I really want to continue using a newer version, but I can't think of anything I'm doing wrong. I've plugged it into multiple ports, used a different cable (although it shouldn't be the issue) and much more. I've dabbled in power settings and told the computer to not turn off USB devices to save power. Ugh, I'm so mad.

Once again this issue does not happen on my work computer which is a Lenovo Yoga 9i, and I can't seem to figure out what the issue is besides the operating system not being compatible with the drivers. Can someone please help?

did you set the USB hubs not to sleep ?

could be a USB 3 compatibility issue you may try a USB 2 hub

Which driver do you use under Win 11 (number)?
Did you try install it in "Compatibility Mode"?
"Your "Lenovo Yoga 9i" runs with Win 10? What driver number is on it?"

Using Windows 8.1 & 10 Driver v2.9.64 on both my new laptop, and my old one which is the latest on Numarks website.

I did not try installing with compatibility mode, but I will have to try that and see if it works! I thought about compatibility mode, but I didn't think that would work for drivers.

In my post I put that I tried this, but I don't necessarily know how to convert a USB 3 to a USB 2. My newer laptop has all the bells and whistles, so I believe it's purely USB C and the newer USB 2.0. I've been using both ports however and still the same issue occurs.

You're a God for re-clarifying this for me, and I own a USB 2 hub so I will definitely try this. My ultimate fix which I know will work is downgrading to Windows 10, but I'll update this post when I complete the troubleshooting tonight.
