I used the wrong record button and it recorded the set, but as a .vdjsample file - i read elsewhere if i rename the file to .ogg, i could use the file without issue. However, I made a copy and renamed to .ogg and it would not play in vlc or elsewhere.

If you can load it on a deck and it plays, you can then start a real recording of that and just let it run it's course

Renaming it - I was able to load the track into Audacity and export. Should be an easier way... but atleast that worked.
