I hope it is okay to post this here in the Technical Support section. I am not 100% sure if this is the correct place for a feature request. If not, please feel free to move it to the correct section.
I would like to submit a feature request for the Beatport Streaming integration in VirtualDJ.
At the moment, VirtualDJ shows Beatport charts such as Top 100, Top Tracks, Beatport playlists and my own created playlists. However, I am missing the “My Beatport” section.
“My Beatport” is very useful because it automatically shows updated tracks based on the artists and labels I follow on Beatport. This makes it much easier to discover relevant new releases without having to manually search through charts or individual labels.
rekordbox handles this very well, and I really miss this workflow in VirtualDJ. It would be great if VirtualDJ could also display the “My Beatport” playlist inside the Beatport Streaming section.
In the same context, it would also be very helpful to have a “Release Date” column in the browser. This would make it possible to sort the “My Beatport” list by release date, so the newest releases appear at the top.
This combination would make music discovery with Beatport Streaming much more efficient inside VirtualDJ.
