Subject: Feature Request: Bring back classic Rigid/Static Multi-BPM Markers alongside Fluid Beatgrid

Dear VirtualDJ Development Team,
First of all, I would like to thank you for your continuous innovation and dedication to making VirtualDJ the most advanced software on the market. The introduction of the Fluid Beatgrid is an incredible technological achievement, especially for tracks with organic tempo fluctuations and live instrumentation.
However, as a producer and working DJ who creates and performs with tracks featuring strict, intentional tempo jumps (for example, a track produced to start strictly at 120 BPM, shift abruptly to 144 BPM, and return to 120 BPM), the new system has made a previously simple task unnecessarily complex and time-consuming.
In previous versions, setting up multi-BPM tracks with strict boundaries was seamless:
We placed a marker at the exact transition beat.
We manually typed or adjusted the exact target BPM value (e.g., 144 BPM).
We set another marker to return to the original BPM (120 BPM).
Since we produce these tracks ourselves, we already know the exact BPM values and transition points. We do not need AI tempo-stretching or dynamic estimation for these specific tracks—we simply need the ability to define hard/static BPM region boundaries easily as we used to.
Currently, competing software like Native Instruments Traktor handles strict tempo transitions very smoothly by allowing precise, manual multi-BPM marker placement. As dedicated VirtualDJ users, we believe VDJ should remain the superior and most versatile software, without sacrificing workflow speed and manual precision for automated features.
Our Request:
Please consider restoring the ability to easily place manual, hard-boundary BPM markers (Rigid/Static Shift) directly alongside the Fluid Beatgrid system. Giving users a clear choice or a simple toggle between "Fluid Grid Region" and "Static BPM Region" inside the Grid Editor would bring back the fast, hassle-free workflow we relied on, while keeping the power of Fluid Beatgrid for dynamic tracks.

Can you give some examples of tracks for which the fluid option didn't work for this?

There should be a checkbox to enable or disable Automatic BPM for those of us who adjust the BPM manually using the traditional anchor method; this would allow the user to choose between these two options, making it easier to control and adjust the program.
