Marze (New Zealand): Hip-hop, R&B, Reggae, Dancehall, Electro Marze has been playing the Dunedin club circuit for four years and has built a solid rapport. He has established residencies at two of Dunedin’s elite bars (GUL-K Thursdays @ Di Lusso and alternate Friday/Saturdays @ Pop Bar) and performs at many more across the city. Along with childhood friends he founded Leaky Hut Productions in 2006 and has produced six Hip-Hop and R&B E.Ps. His passion for the Hip-Hop genre has led to several gigs across the South Island, Wellington and has given him the opportunity to perform with some of New Zealand’s top Hip-Hop artists including DJ Sir-vere, DJ Shan, Young Sid, Smashproof and Scribe. Marze has also developed a unique club experience by combining Electro and Hip-Hop which adds to his adaptability and has given rise to ‘Electro Symphony’. He has also released four Electro/Hip-Hop mixtapes titled ‘Drop the Beat’. Currently Marze is working on ‘Drop the Beat Vol.5’ and his Hip-Hop inspired ‘On the Bloc’ mixtape series and planning massive things across the country in 2010!
