Hi and welcome to my blog.
Incase you hadn't gathered my name is Ross, I'm 20 from Glasgow in Scotland. I've been DJing for almost 10 years now as a hobby, seriously for about 5 of them and professionally for the last 3.5 years.
I had been messing about with Atomix productions demo's for a couple of years naimly AtomixMP3 then one day I discovered Virtual DJ the digital DJ product I had been looking for but it wasn't straight away that I decided to buy it - I needed a little more convincing - stability wise, I tried as hard as I could to crash VDJ (this would have been back in version 1.08)
Very soon after I ordered my DAC-2 controller, when it arrived on Sat 19th of June 2004 I ordered my serial.
I haven't looked back since then:
VDJ allows me to carry more music to a job than ever before but the best bit for me is how quickly I can find tracks without having to sort through CD's - coupled with the DAC-2 it works just like my old CD decks did...then there are the added benefits such as looping.
I can see VDJ going far in the Digital DJ market if it keeps going the way it is just now - theres a lot more I personally would love to see in it but as it is it appeals to the mass market.
I love all sorts of music: Dance, Trance, Hard House, Hard Dance, Bouncy, Funky House, Classics, RnB
I'll listen to just about anything but when I'm playing thats what I like.
This is the setup I'm currently using althought I think we'll be getting a new case made soon.

Comprising:
Virtuald DJ V2.06

Gemini PS-700 Pro Mixer
Gemini CD-340 Dual Transport CD Decks (as backup and for CD's people bring to me)

2.00GHz AMD Athlon
