Hey azen its pretty easy making the graphics part for a skin the hard part is the code but u can try the skin creator tool from jeremk.
It takes time to understand the code but try making something on photoshop also u can open a skin and check the 2 files in it (bmp and xml)
Thats what i did to undestand the code, and yes i can give you lessons lol.
