I am having the same problem
I was wondering if maybe you can help me out,
I was patiently awaiting the Virtual DJ software update for the Numark NS7.
The update came out the other day and I downloaded and installed it.
When I connected my laptop to the NS7 and opened Virtual DJ the NS7 worked and connected to the Virtual DJ software instantly. Here is where it gets rediculous....There were a few glitches that I was able to iron out with a few tweeks of my computer but there was one serious glitch that I just couldn't fix.
This morning I decided to start from scratch and uninstalled Serato Itch...including the NS7 drivers along with Virtual DJ from my laptop figuring that maybe if I reinstalled everything I could work out the glitch.
The problem is that when I installed everything back again.....the Numark NS7 isn't connecting at all with the Vitual DJ software. It is working fine with the Serato ITCH. I use Virtual DJ now and was really hoping that I can use it for the first time on a gig I have in Atlantic City this weekend. I have been messing with this today for no less than 12 hours with no luck. I have been on the phone with Numark, Virtual DJ ..3 TIMES...and all over the website forums. Then I though of you! Is there any remedy to this problem. How can I get the virtual DJ software to recognize the NS7 and what could have happened when I uninstalled the programs that caused it not to recognize it again.
If you don"t mind giving me ...if you have any suggestions I would greatly appreciate it.

please can you send me the midi file that you've done ? i have bought the ns7 and would to see it working with vdj i'm pro user and i think its the best one of controllers !
