Topic: Link Stem Pad Mappings to Dynamic Waveforms (Visual Stem Mute)

Hi ,
With the rollout of VirtualDJ's new Dynamic Waveforms feature, I would love to see a deeper integration with custom pad mappings—specifically regarding how we manipulate Stems.
In Serato's workflow, if you hit a pad mapped to mute a specific stem (like pulling the vocals or drums out), that exact stem instantly disappears from the moving waveforms on screen, giving you immediate visual feedback of what's playing.
Currently in VDJ, I want to map a custom toggle on my performance pads to isolate or mute a stem (e.g., stem 'vocal' mute or stem 'drum' mute), but I want this action to dynamically update the new waveforms in real-time, just like it does when using the default Stems skins or EQ knobs.
Is there a specific VDJScript command or action modifier I should be adding to my pad mapping so that pressing the pad tells the dynamic waveform engine to hide that stem visually? If not, could we get this added as a feature or a script action (e.g., something like stem 'vocal' mute & waveform_update)?
It would make the new dynamic waveforms incredibly powerful for clean, visual mixing when using custom pad layouts!
Thanks!

Should already be the case without adding anything

(Note that for this to work, you do need to use the correct vdj script, "stem 'vocal' mute" is not the correct vdj script, so it won't mute your vocals, and therefore the waveform will also not change, since the vocal is still there. mute_stem 'Vocal' is the correct script to mute the vocal for example.)

To clarify, I’m looking for this visual waveform behavior when triggering Stem-specific effects (like a Vocal Echo Out or Drum Echo Out).

Effects indeed don't show up on waveforms

I just want to know if thier is a mapping which can implement it on waveforms when vocal out using stem fx and adding on a mapping that shows that the stem is muted is possible

Update to my request:
To clarify exactly what I am trying to achieve with this: I want to set up a custom pad mapping that does two things at once. It should trigger an echo-out effect on a specific stem (like vocals or drums) and instantly reflect that stem's removal on these new dynamic waveforms.
Could anyone share the exact VDJScript mapping lines that can combine a stem echo-out with the visual waveform update?

No, it's not possible at the moment.
As explained above, EFFECTS don't show on the waveforms
