Hi folks have the lastest vdj 2024 and im looking at wanting to edit the skin by adding 2 of my own images which ive made to fit over the jog wheels and and a small piece iof text to the current virtual dj pro skin however i dont have a clue on where to start can anyone help on how to do this im running on a mac book pro

silverSleek 2 is probably your best reference to learn how a custom slipmat is done. lines 7858 to 7893.
But it's not really a beginner task.
I can sort of skin and I'm saying even for me it's not an easy task.

Adding text is trivial, once you can read the basics of a skin.
I do these kinds of tweaks for a beer or two, but explaining how it's done to somebody who knows nothing on skinning would take pages of text.
Unfortunately you sort of have to get the basics of skins [recolour stuff, move stuff, resize stuff, make stuff condition] before stuff can be explained in a way that isn't a complete chore for the explainer.
But it's not really a beginner task.
