This is because you are using VirtualDJ Home FREE, Broadcaster or Basic.
These versions do not support timecode (Except for 10 minutes as a trial of the full VirtualDJ Professional.) Please see comparison.
To use timecode without any limitations, you will need to purchase or upgrade to the full VirtualDJ Professional.
NOTE: If you have the full VirtualDJ Professional and your timecode does not work for songs longer than 12 minutes, please see: Timecode length
