I Have been a dj in Cape Town for over 16 years.

Started with cassettes, then vinyl, then cd and now digital.

I Have played in over 30 different clubs in and around Cape Town and Joburg.
Was a regular on the local Radio Station for a few years as well.
Owned 2 nightclubs between 2008 and 2010.

In 2011 I hope to open my third night club.

The highlight of my dj career would have to be playing for 35 000 people on the Grand Parade in Cape Town at the Final of the Fifa Worl Cup 2010

My first digital set up was with Final Scratch when it first came out.

Switched to VDJ to mix Music Vids in my clubs.

Sold Final Scratch and bought a Maya 44 with 2 VDJ Timecodes off this site for the mobility.

Used my VDJ for 2 years with turntables before switching to CDJ 1000's and a DJM 800.

I am still using this set up but I recently bought a Numark Mixtrack Pro to see if I could do the controller thing and I love it....

Currently waiting for my Numark NS7....

I have tried Traktor & Serato....each program has unique features, but Virtual DJ is so well thought out and user friendly I have found no need to switch....
