I just downloaded virtual dj about a week ago and I pretty much got the hang of it, however I am looking for a way to actualy MIX like in real life by using headphones/cue in virtual dj. Currently what I have to do, and I don't know if this is the ONLY way, is I play a song on chanel 1, move the mixer a bit towards the center, then simply hit play on the other cd and I have to wing it LIVE and match it LIVE which could be a mess or a big risk. Is there a way to listen to one chanel while the other is playing in headphones or a way to hear the song on the other chanel any other way other than having to move the fader?
Any dj's can understand this. Please help.

You can use an external sound card like the MAYA 44 USB http://www.audiotrak.net/products/maya44usb/

Each of these will allow you to assign different outputs on the card to channels within VDJ; deck A, deck B, and monitor for headphone preview of your mix before throwing it live to the crowd. The controllers do lots more but they cost lots more.
These are only examples, depending on your needs and experience level you can go inexpensive or you can spend lots of money.
Browse the forums, you can find info about every imaginable application with every type of hardware and software available. A few of the controllers come with a limited version of the VDJ software and also VDJ offers a discount if you would like to upgrade to the pro version.

So basically the solution to your problem is having a second sound card - I use a mixer by Numark that has USB connections and a built in sound card that works for me...
