this is a fully mappable usb jog wheel with buttons, i was just looking and when i grab vdj up would this device be of any use? i also have tables so i figure tcv but on a small scale, and not lug all that equipment around.

I have a USB jog wheel with buttons too. It's called a Contour shuttle pro. Yes I could use it with VDJ, as long as the device has software that will translate button presses into key presses (it does). I've never thought of this though, since I would really need to have two in order for them to be useful. This particular device is really made for video editing, but I suppose you could use it for whatever you wanted with the keymapper. I've never used it that way though.
