MAC, DJM 5000
...i can't make the DJM 5000 play with all SIX Channels, only 1-4 will work 5/6 cannot be chosen.
With the option: 3-lines Mixer, the DJM 5000 cannot be selected.
All other options don't deliver six channels too...
Please, let me know how? ... I really want my sampler on 5/6 (CH-4 on the Mixer)!

You should come to the german forum - it will be much easier for you ;-))
(German: Komm doch einfach in's Deutsche Forum - dürfte sprachlich um einiges einfacher sein ;-))

Hi all,
Have checked through the forums on this but cant seem to find an answer. I have VDJ, MEP-7000 and DJM-500. Im trying to prepare some demo files for my website but because the crossfader isnt mapped and set in the middle on the software I am hearing the track on deck 2 as im preparing the mix, although it isnt audible through the speakers. Id had me fooled for a while but eventually i worked out why it was happening so manually dragged it across on the laptop. So now the problem is because iv done that I cant hear the mix whatsoever through my headphones. It seems that the only way to record a properly mixed mp3 file is to map the crossfader, which i have no idea.
Any help would be great or is there another way of doing this without the mix being heard till i drag the crossfader across on the djm-5000 ?
Cheers

TopHouse -- Where can I get a copy of the midi Map for the djm-5000 I really need it, I just got the mixer and cannot find the mapper ANYWHERE, can you help a fellow DJ out. Thanks, Nick

There is no official or user made mapping available for the DJM-5000. And if there was, you would need to be a registered licensed user of VirtualDJ of VirtualDJ Professional to download it. Mappers and other add-ons are only available to licensed users: http://www.virtualdj.com/buy/index.html
However, it is an external audio mixer, so this is not necessary except for mapping the crossfader for video mixing and/or some spare buttons to trigger effects, etc. You can do this via Simple MIDI Wrapper: http://www.virtualdj.com/homepage/jpboggis/blogs/4149/VDJscript_Mapping.html
