Yes; that's latency and is directly controlled by latency setting in your ASIO control panel for your soundcard device (VDJ should be left on Auto in ASIO and controlled from the soundcard util instead). The lower you set it, the quicker the response.

ok guys ! i have the ns7 and it works really well with the virtual dj and mac with the ns7. my delima is the video pluggins are numorous for pc but not for mac. i use boot camp and vista for my mac with virtual dj and ns7 but it jumps way too much SO can we get more pluggins for mac? and does anyone have luck with virtual dj with ns7 and vista help me please! 6.0.4 is no help for ns7 on vista.

Do you have XP?
It might work far better in bootcamp with ns7 for you.

As for video plugins for mac, hopefully more to come soon..

The new serato timecode sounds very responsive compared to the other but for some reason, when backspining or juggling the timecode vinyl keeps slipping which does not happen in the other timecode engine. Since I extremely love the beta engine because of responsiveness of sound I'm still using it.Anyone getting slipping also? By the way,my turntable is setup correctly because with the normal serato A engine It has no slipping whatsoever.

What do you mean slipping? Do you mean drifting in the pitch and stuff?

Thanks also for the new versions and updates.

I've been a user since v2.1 and remain a HUGE VDJ fan...

OH thank you djpr1. I must say when that gets corrected, vdj is all I want to hear of. If I hear any other DVS name I'll go crazy mad..

Has the file date feature been fixed? Or we can still encounter issues?

In v6.0.4 sorting on filedate is allowed again for folders with up to 500 files in them.

This number can be tweaked via the registry, but this is not recommended because filedate is read in real time, so would cause performance issues (Lag) for folders with large numbers of files.

NOTE: Editing the registry directly is also potentially very dangerous and is not recommended unless you are an expert and know exactly what you are doing.

Ok thanks man.

Virtual Vinyl 6.0.4??

I love the updates. It's very reassuring to know that VDJ is a product that is constantly receiving loving attention and improving rapidly.
Much thanks to the team!

hi,
i have had virtual dj for about a year now and i love it(i hav it upgraded to the latest version). I recently just bought 2 technics SL-1200MK2's, the virtual vinyl audio interface, and i hav a mixer. I understand this is all you need to operate virtual vinyl with virtual dj. but its just not working for me(if i am lucky enough it will play sometimes on one deck, sometimes on both) i especially can not get it to go backwards(on the deck i would spin the record backwards but the song will go forwards), which is imprtant to scratch.
Maybe my config is wrong?
I lack hardware?
if anyone can, please help me, i do not want to have had blown off all this money for no reason. Thank you in advanced.
p.s. i hav bought the serato CV02's just in case.

@rodster - Please do not make the same post across multiple threads ... it will not get you an answer any quicker and only divides the responses that together in one spot could have helped you.

Where is ver 6.0.4 for VV? we seem to be avoiding this answer...mabe an ETA?
