VDJ can use VSTs, and a whole bunch of effects are available for download. You could browse them yourself to see if a plugin is available, or you could search for a VST that does the effect you want.

I'm trying to find a gating vst effect equivalent to Traktors gator. Has anyone found it? Links?
Tex's gates effect doesnt seem to work very well? It sounds airy and doesnt actually manipulate the sound....

good stuff tex, look 4ward 2 seeing it. Just a suggestion.. Pls try keep the variations 2 a minimum. Wen controlling more than 2 sliders or parameters it not ideal especially wen midi mapping

I always keep that in mind ;-) If you look carefully, in my latest plugins I always map the most important parameters to the first 2/3 sliders, while the other ones are for advanced settings. If this isn't enough, I can make a simplified version, as I did with my Filters.
