Yep, that's where the "votes" are tallied. The bigger the response for new features, the more likely they will be implemented ;)

We do not make improvements or decisions on improvements by 'polls'. That is why we have never created the feature for our forums.
The desires for improvements are based on the quality of the feedback in the forums and the practicality of IF the 'wish' will benefit ALL or just 1 persons preference. Also, 'quality' of feedback does not mean how many people can 'scream' or 'complain' about something not existing. Quality of feedback is presenting the idea and the how it would benefit and improve the overall DJ'ng experience - not just that it would be 'cool'.
Also, when wishes or improvements are suggested - they are not just overnight implementations. We have to take into consideration the overall impact to the software. Where one improvement may be very practical and very necessary the implementation and impact can be extremely complex.
So, continue the posts of recommendations, wishes, etc. etc. -- but just because it is posted - does not mean immediate implementation.

I agree that changes and new implementations should never be taken lightly. To the contrary, any of them could negatively impact the software and affect its overall functionality and stability, especially given the wide variations in hardware configurations that are, at least to some extent, untestable.
We frequently deal with the instant gratification culture at our gigs, probably because of cell phones and internet jukeboxes that are cropping up all over creation, but it is not wise to take that approach with software development.
