Something to make my friend TheTracker bussy... :-)
PlasmaVis is a music “visualizer” that turns sounds into graphic works of art. It features high resolution hardware-accelerated graphics combining texture, color, and advanced mathematics such as real-time fractals. Simply put, PlasmaVis is something to look at while you listen to music. Beyond that, it can be used as background effects at concerts, dance clubs, parties, etc., a screen-saver to decorate your computer, or an advertising venue to draw attention to a message.
Thousands of possible variations
High resolution graphics
On-screen controls
Visualize microphone/stereo mix input
Screensaver mode
Customizable text
Additional variations
Additional configuration options

To cut a long story short, forget about VDJ screen... Start Plasmavis standalone version, put your logo and scrolling text and drag it's window on second monitor. It uses mic or stereo mix input to accept your music mix from VirtualDJ. I like those new OpenGL visualizers... Is someone using any other?

Winamp's Milkdrop is free yet full-featured and Windows 7 compatible (PlasmaVis isn't).

Well, standalone version runs smooth on my Windows 7 Ultimate 32-bit... Plugin's for WMP are not compatible with Win7. Text logo and scrolling text features are interesting here...

However not really helpful for people who intermix videos though. All these things aren't really relevant to VirtualDJ plugins, since they aren't VirtualDJ plugins - they are entirely different applications. Discussion on them belongs in the General forum IMHO.

I use Morphyre Pro as a Music Visualizer (www.morphyre.com) - it's got awesome graphics, but again it has to run as a separate application.
I'm new to VirtualDJ - Are there any Music Visualizations actually built in, or that can be downloaded as plugins?

On Windows PC there are Sonique visualisations that can be used. Or you can use the default clipbank plugin to play looped ambient video clips.
Sonique (Or clipbank) can also be set to show automatically when playing audio files.
