I have recently upgraded to VDJ Pro 7 and noticed that when playing music from my computer that I only have control of the gain on Ch 1. on the controller. Is that normal?

Hello,

I just got a numark mixdeck express which came with a serato dj intro. I tried mapping it to use the virtual dj pro 7 but only the mixer section works.

My configuration are as follows:
INPUT: None
OUTPUT: External mixer
SOUND CARD: ASIO4ALL

Finally I click apply and ok then tried mapping the decks and each time I select an option such as touch-wheel from the scroll down menu on the right side of the window and spin the platter some information are displayed but the deck does not respond if I press play from the software it works but if I press play from my controller nothing happens. Is there something I am not doing right?

Most likely you are using an older version of the software that pre-dates native support for the Numark MixDeck Express. It's natively supported in the latest version and does not need mapping.

Please register your Pro serial number on the page http://www.virtualdj.com/users/edit.html and then download the latest version from http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html

well there is nothing on the website that even mentions the mixdeck just the ns6 and 7 etc

You will clearly see the MixDeck listed there as well as others that the software supports. For registered licensed users there are also user-made mappers for unsupported controllers available from http://www.virtualdj.com/addons/controllers.html

I just got a mixdeck express and downloaded the newest update of virtual dj but it only has control with ch. 1

On the link you have listed is says mixdeck. will it work with mixdeck EXPRESS??

Will what work?

Both the Mixdeck and Mixdeck Express have native mapping in VDJ, so you can use either one as a controller & sound card/mixer for VDJ (full Pro version)

If your MixDeck came with VirtualDJ LE then it entitles you to a discount off the cost of upgrading (Assuming that it's not second hand and already used.)

I've been trying to register my mixdeck Express, but it's not excepting my serial number...this is BIG TIME Fustrating!.... I've even showed it to some people that knows how to download the program and can't figure out why its not working! CAN YOU PLEASE HELP ME! I'm ready to just use another program, as much as I want to use this, I'm losing patience.

i have my mixdexk express , purchased the monthly plan for usind virtual dj 8 and im nit getting any sound on my headphones , can get it to configurate. Can someone help
