Hi everyone! I have my first DJ gig in a live club setting after a massive bout of performance anxiety that made me quit this coming Friday. I've purchased a MacBook Pro maxed out with 16gb memory and 1TB HD. I wanted to ask what are some non-traditional tips to ensure my machine is running to it's best ability to run VDJ.
I've also pre-recorded my mix which I will use to edit the live mix I will record to offer as a download after the event. I'm having issues with Beat Match dropping out of sync when looping and what I presume is a latency issue as the sound coming through my headphones is faster then what's going out the speakers.
I connect VDJ to a Behringer VMX1000 USB mixer to cue and mix. I've read over several posts and YT videos but wanted to ask for my specific request so I apologize if this has been repeatedly asked but certainlly appreciate any responders time and info! :)

what controller your using ? with that usb mixer.
