Topic: Denon DJ MC3000 problem

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

I just got a Denon dj mc3000 with Virtual DJ 7 LE. I set the gain for each deck where I want it, but once I load a track into the deck it's as if the mapping did not happen and the Gain is completely turned up. Also, the master volume on the controller is not mapped onto the master of software. This is the software that came with the controller. It should be preset if I'm not mistaken. I'm frustrated because my Numark Mixtrack pro had no software issues whatsoever. Please help.

The gain for each song is automatically set by VirtualDJ to a normalised value as part of the analysis process. You should not need to manually adjust it manually except in rare cases where the software gets it wrong (Either too quiet or loud.) Don't use excessive gain and/or EQ to compensate for speakers that aren't loud enough or don't have enough bass. Doing so may cause distortion in versions prior to v7.3 or excessive triggering of the limiter in v7.3 or later. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Limiter.html

For best results, make sure that you pre-analyse your music collection to ensure that the correct gain, BPM, key, etc. is set for each song. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Pre-Analysing%20Your%20Music%20Collection.html

NOTE: If you are trying to adjust the gain of a song and nothing is happening, this is probably because the software and hardware knob positions don't match and soft-takeover is in effect. You need to move the knob to the correct position as indicated on the skin to make any adjustments. Please see http://www.virtualdj.com/wiki/Soft%20Take-over%20or%20Non-MIDI%20Mixer.html

The master and headphone knobs on the Denon MC3000 are hardware controls that directly affect the sound output levels of its built-in sound card. You won't see the software knobs moving and these should be left at their normal default positions. The knobs are not mappable (They don't send MIDI.)

Also, make sure that you have the most recent version of VirtualDJ LE for Denon MC3000 installed: http://www.virtualdj.com/download/updates.html
