Recently when I try to manually edit BPMs, Virtual DJ freezes upon closing the BPM edit window. The audio will usually keep playing but as soon as I click anything on the interface the program crashes. I also use a Numark N4, but this issue occurs even if I am using Virtual DJ without the controller. I can't think of anything that has changed recently that would cause this problem to arise. I am using a 2011 17" Macbook Pro, with OS X Mavericks version 10.9.2 and Virtual DJ Pro, version 7.4.1

This is a known issue and should be solved with one of the next updates.

Here's an interesting workaround that seems to almost always work for me. During the occasional BPM edit which may also involve moving the phase slider to set your beat marker timing, if you make your changes and instead of clicking OK click CANCEL it almost always work. It works consistently enough for me to always do it whenever i need to edit BPM on a track. Sometimes I find clicking on the track listing before clicking OK works as well, though not nearly as reliable as just clicking CANCEL.
