try and find one with 2 hard drives, 1 with SSD to run the O/S on and a normal HD for ur music

hi, i run a i5 (duo core) 8gb ram, ati dedicated gpu 1gb on a win7 laptop pc, ive been mixing video flawlessly in 7.4 and doesnt seem to bad in 8, my problem is when it comes to recording video, vdj8 starts to jerk and freeze up when making transitions, the end result is a very choppy recorded video. any suggestions?
