which build? what graphics card? laptop or desktop? I've had it running instead of Shader without issues because i'm fed up with dealing with the Shader download site and THAT will crash a browser after a while even on a desktop.

If I run shader as the main video plugin and switch milkdrop on and off as needed I have no problems at all. If I use milkdrop8 as the main video plugin it eventually crashes vdj.

weird. I can let it run all night long with no issues on desktop or 4 year old ASUS laptop. laptop doesn't even over heat while it's running.
that was exactly how I had been running it here, along with all the other screen goodies while testing at home. the only issues I ever ran into were dropping framerates while streaming on facebook or youtube. 30fps is okay but I like the smooth 60fps better.
