I tried to turn it off in the settings but it did not work. i can not get the controller to instant start with start button. also the start time and stop time still does not seem to work.

The start / stop works for me which was a surprise. Maybe a setting or firmware? I know I have to rotate gain knobs to calibrate, maybe try that on the stop / start?
