DJ A Sharp - The One Man Band
I may be missing something VERY simple in the mapping here, and if I am , I apologize in advance for taking you guys away from some of the bigger issues.
I am using a Pioneer DDJ SR with a Mac running OSX 10.9.2
I am looking for a simple action. When I press the Hot Cue 1 pad, it sets the cue and will play the cue. When the deck is playing, I want pressing the pad to jump to the cue (as it does by default). But when the deck is paused, I only want it to play "while pressed". I tried this script:
"play ? hot_cue 1 : hot_cue 1 while_pressed"
The first part of the action works fine, but when the deck is paused, pressing the pad starts the track playing from the cue as normal, instead of while pressed only. Please help.

pause ? cue 1 ? cue 1 : goto_cue 1 & cue 1 : hot_cue 1 ? cue 1 : set_cue 1
pause ? cue 1 ? cue 1 : goto_cue 1 & cue 1 : hot_cue 1 ? cue 1 : set_cue 1
