I have been letting vdj8 just play on Automix at my desk while I'm working. Occasionally this happens:

You can hear it at 7.6 seconds in. The song plays fine if you just put it in a player. Automix is set to Fade (remove intro/outro).

so this happend during the transition from one song to another right...?

Correct, it seemed to be when the first song ended and the second waveform moved "up".

Very similar to the glitch when scrolling through the sampler settings.

and very similar to the sound issue when using or prelistening tracks in the automix editor. sound issues start when transition starts...

Anybody found a fix for this? I'm finding that automix is not mixing properly and leaving long gaps between songs sometimes, or starting a song too far into the track, despite changing the automix setting to fade (remove intro/outro) over 2 or 4 seconds

That pop also happens on the backspin effect.
