I have some tracks that were cached in 8. How come they do not show up in the cache folder in 7? How can I get these tracks into the ver 7 cache? Are these folders separate?

Just a guess as I haven't tested (will later). But when you download a new file it will be added to the database of the version you are using.
Therefore if you move to the other version you will need to manually added those files to that database in the same way you would any normal file.
Will test later though.

Ok i tested it and it does appear that they don't show under Content Unlimited in 7 if you download in 8 or vice versa - even after adding to database.
I was able to locate the Cache folder in the browser MyDocuments->VirtualDJ->Cache and play the files that way.
Perhaps not ideal but hopefully you won't be flicking between two versions for too long.
