Not sure what you mean here. I just search for a track and pick the one that has the remix I need. I did turn off the remix columns for database scanning though. Waste of space IMHO and just made it harder to find the tracks I wanted.

Looking at this, it seems strange that only 13 out of a possible 40 browser fields are searchable.
I realise that some are not relevant, but that's a big difference.
There seem to be some discrepancies too. In the browser columns you have User 1 and User 2, but in the search options and tags it's Field1 and Field2.

Thanks GroovinDJ, I was trying to take a snap shot of the available fields but every time I press alt the fields would close :).
Yes the Search choices are taken from VDJ7 when VDJ8 has so much more to search from.

In the mean time search by fileName the remix info will be in that.
