on the new vdj 8. i can edit the end of the loop by shortening it with the LOOP SIZE on screen rotary knob. but I can't seem to get it to map to a knob on my controller. it ends up mapping it to LOOP Length. any help please or is this a issue that will be fixed. ? thanks all

i know about loop half etc. im on about when a loop doesnt make a perfect loop you can edit it with the second onscreen knob in loop. try it and see what i mean. but use the mouse

If the knob you are trying to map is an endless encoder, then you can try to map it as .. loop_length

yes but i know it maps as loop length. it doesn't have the same effect as it does using the onscreen knob. it just ends up changing the loop down from say 16 to 8 to 4 etc. but doesn't work like the on screen knob does
