Hey Frank,
The reason V8 was created in the first place is that it was impossible to improve the sound engine within the coding of V7.
This has been asked in the past and it's not possible. Atomix have stated that V7 will not be maintained.

I know all of that!! lol I was just dreaming in color after VDJ8 crashed on me last night after 1.5 hours. All I did was try turn off automix after returning from a break and it froze AGAIN. I was disappointed the rest of the evening having to revert back to 7. Brings back memories of Stanton "Final Scratch" when they had Native Instr. re-design their software and it went to sh!t. The original software held up better! (N2IT) Over 10 years ago. Look where they are with that product today?

WOW there's aging myself... I owned FS over 14 years ago. I stopped using it in 2004 after NI issues. That's when I found VDJ. Simpler times!
