Hi,
I have vob video files (videoclips and karaoke) that play fine with VDJ 7.4.1 but not with VDJ8 (on the same PC with XP).
On VDJ8, some of these files play with only the sound but no video! And some others don't play at all (and some others play fine).
No problem with these same files with VDJ 7.4.1
Is it a VDJ8 bug?

We cant fix something if we cant reproduce it. So, if you have any kind of files that dont play as expected, please upload one to a server (or dropbox) and share the link (or pm me if you dont want to share it in public)

Atomix will need to know how they're encoded. The codecs are internal to VDJ 8 but not to VDJ 7.

Bug is reported.
It should normally allow the file to stream, since it seems too large to load in memory.
It also appears that it incorrectly calculates the Length (remain time).
Anyways, we will have news soon.

Work around for me. I noticed the (Windows Explorer) properties of the video ripped with VDJ Rip DVD shows the video length is over 26 hours when it is actually just a few minutes. All the old videos ripped with the VDJ Rip DVD that show the video length is over 26 hours are ones that will not play the video in VDJ8 only and trigger the excessive memory error. I found I can rip those videos with a correct video length using SmartRipper and then it will play in VDJ8.
