I cant update from 1872 build I getting the update failed do you want to try again msg

You can have a look in your \Documents\VirtualDJ\Cache folder for the update file. Remove it and try again.
If it is already not working you could also remove the Software from your system (keep your files and Database !!!) and reinstall the latest setup from the homepage.
