Topic: Tags cannot be loaded to VirtualDJ Database (for existing files)

Questo argomento è obsoleto e potrebbe contenere informazioni obsolete o errate.

For some songs that are already in the VirtualDJ Database i changed the Tags in the mp3 files (with TagScanner, but that should not matter)
I thought "Analyze for BPM etc." (in German: "BPM und Tags ermitteln") should load the changes into the VirtualDJ Database, but it does not.
Perhaps it's a problem of translation and "etc." does not meen the tag? but anyway that would be a really important feature.

1. make sure you are using the latest build of VDJ, because there was a "load tags" bug in previous versions.

Now, to just update the tags mark all your files (or a folder) you want to update. Do a rightclick on any of the marked files (or folder) and choose "Batch -> Lade Tags" (or in englisch "Batch -> Load Tags").

Thank you PachN!
Works like a charm.

Still the menues and naming are a little bit confusing. If you rightclick on 1 file the option "Reload Tags" is not there (cause it's inside of "Batch"). It just works for 2 and more files or folders. "BPM und Tags erneut ermitteln" does mean RELOAD BPM and Tags, but it does not reload tags - so if you don't know how it works it's confusing.

Btw. VirtualDJ 8 is getting better and better:
- Preview now is working as expected - it does not stop anymore every time you do a drag and drop operation etc.
- CPU consumption is much better now

Good job!
