I purchased a controller licence for my Beatmix 2, but it does not appear in my licences.
Can someone please assist me, as i am getting no joy via the ticket system and i need the software urgently?

You should've gotten a confirmation email to the email adresse you used for the purchase.
Follow the step in this mail (e.g. click on a link or sth.).
After that, download VDJ 8 from here:
http://www.virtualdj.com/download/index.html
Start VDJ 8 and log in with your forums account details.
The software should now unlock everything according to your licence.

You had 2 accounts based on the same login and email, and the old one was blocked for some reason. We have changed that so that you only have one account now and should have your license as well.

when buying a new mixer do u have to purchase a new license every time u upgrade equipment.

I am looking at adding a licence for a controller to my home set up, and also need to use my DJi0 into an external mixer. Will the licence for the controller cover the mixer too - or do I have to purchase two licences ?

The required controller licence does not include a analoge mixer licence.
So either you need 2 licences or the Pro Infinity Licence to cover unlimited controller support
or the monthy subscription of Pro Infinity.
