Ok here's one for all you technically minded people!
I have a friend who lives a long way away from me. We want to do a back to back set, on mixify. I have an idea of how to do this but I don't have the knowledge to set up the technology behind it. My idea is thus:
I set up an icecast server to receive his stream and route it to virtual dj as one of the decks (deck 4 for example.)
I then create a mixify event as normal and stream only that deck until I'm ready to take over. then I can mix into his last song and take over.
What I need is assistance setting up a way to receive his audio, and route it into virtual dj as deck 4.
I have a pioneer dd j sx. And a MacBook pro.
Help please!

netjack (part of the JACK audio connection kit) or PulseAudio may be useful for this :)
