Hi, my system runs Virtual DJ 7 perfectly,
So, i just installed VD8, and loading a track locks up the software totally - the song can play, but nothing works and track info never shows up. This happens every time i start up VD8! Any idea on what to do??

Okay so, I'm using Windows 7, ordinary setup, standard audio drivers, and Virtual Dj 7 works perfectly on this system,
but when I load VDJ 8 and try to load a track, it just crashes the entire software, no knobs can move at all, no sliders,
no waveforms show up - but if I hit play, the song plays, but nothing else functions...
Is this abnormal, any clues to the cause??

It happens when you load a track.....
Load a track from where? Internal drive, external drive, Grooveshark/Content Unlimited?
Are you loading it from within VDJ (it's been added to the library) or are you dragging & dropping from somewhere?
What type of track is it? What format? Video? Audio? Is it a single track or a long mix?
What skin are you using? Your comment about knobs and sliders not moving makes me wonder if perhaps you're trying to use an old skin.
