-Slideshow has option to play video
-Midi clock output setting stored in config

Global variables still being erased from settings.xml after auto updating.

It crashes here too, as soon as the Video button is pressed and the Slideshow is enabled.
 
Still notice a clicking/static noise on the sampler,
Just try with the "Hard Kick" from the default Instrument and play mp4 videos..on PC :-(
 
"Fix file deletion crash on Mac OS X 10.7" - confirmed! the issue with VDJ8 freeze+Lag also gone, thank you so much Atomix!
analyzing tracks process takes too much CPU, causing distortion/stutter on OSX 10.7 (this does not happen on win7 or build1845 osx 10.7)
cloning decks still not fixed for motorized platters, works ok with players without motor (cloned deck is 1/2 beat behind original track; duplicating the clone deck action and works fine), also cloning decks does not copy cue point or loops
saved loops bug still happens (load a track with a saved loop(at end of track), arm that loop, so the track doesnt stop playing at end, play the track from beggining,then if I touch/hold the vinyl the track jumps right to the armed loop at the end, pitchbending using the platter or even scratch forward(forward spin) its fine,only if I stop/hold the vinyl or backspin the track jumps to the armed loop. I dont think its suppose to work this way...)

-Slideshow

Before, when you have the VideoAudioOnlyVisualization set to Slideshow, and added new pics to the folder, it does NOT show the NEWLY ADDED pics at all.

Now it works perfectly... Thanks to the TEAM.
(I'm playing around with the new option (playing video). I can't get to work. I was using a MP4 file. But I don't think I will use this for slideshow anyway.
My main thing was the Pictures showing during Audio playing.

P.S. Could someone add FADE. I use this 100% everytime. According in the info, it was made by clax ????

Now that the Slideshow works the way I use it, I may go Live with V8.

Have you enabled the VIDEO effect button from the FX GUI ? Speed slider to max and fade slider to 0 ?

Got it to work. It did crash on me (should have a dump on VDJ server). This happened when I was fiddling with the 2 setting (fade/speed).

Anyway, I use this mainly to display pictures.

The video portion can be useful in some other setups.

2064 will not load can't open vdj8 after the up date..need to use over the H-day weekN

OSX 10.9.2 / 2.6Ghz i7/ 8Gb RAM
 
In which case I would recommend you revert to the public build rather than a beta build.
 
try re-install,I have had similar problems with auto updates on other builds

The ability to drag and drop "Live Feedback" suggestions to a deck no longer works with build 2064.
 
works fine here. What files are those ? Audio, Video ? Did you try to cache them and see if those are unavailable ?

This doesn't work for all suggestions, it depends on availability of the suggestion with the services you subscribed to.
