and I've just looked again, after work style, in the forum it tells me that there is a new post"it's blue!" but when i hit it it's my old post!
are you hiding something? or am I just an old fart?
 
The post count is correct, so there is nothing hidden. Maybe someone edited their post.
 
vertical , blue and green lines , right wing 3/4 videos ...
 
just tried the browser colour... nice, i like it.
iv tried a couple colours, teal and Turquoise and nothing happened.
iv also tried red and blue and OK
is there a certain colour chart we should use
 
You used the names, or hex codes? I suspect the names are quite limited. You could say "blue" but not "duck egg blue" for example. :-)
 
i used the names... Im going to try the hex codes now that you mentioned it

Which buttons?

It would be easy to make a row of buttons with fixed colours, that you would use to make the tracks those same colours.

It would not be so easy to have the colour of the buttons change to match the code you enter, because it needs to be written in the skin.

Maybe we need a button_color action, so it would be browsed_file_color #123456 & button_color #123456 :-)
 
VirtualDj supports only the 16 basic color by name. All the others can be called via hex or RGB

browsed_file_color '#be33ff'

browsed_file_color '125,17,255'
 
thanks phantom... what are the colours for the colours by name?

the buttons for the colour browser... just a thought
the image iv posted, see how it says browse... can we edit that to say blue, green red etc...
 
Well they not HTML 3.2 colours, so far
Red, Orange, Yellow, Cyan, Magenta, Green, Blue, Black, White
7 to discover
 
i fixed it... didnt see the chat box on the bottom to name the button

The team will take however long it takes to release a stable build. I don't mind the delay... First rule of development never ask for ETA or rush DEVS
