i've noticed on last few updates when i boot vdj 8 it shows error in both decks 1 & 2, then during the night to the right of the search box it says error in deck 3 & error in deck 4.
is this a bug or how vdj is now supposed to work?

Its a "cosmetic" bug. Error goes away as soon as you load a track on a deck.
It will be fixed in next beta build.
In the meantime, if you still want to get rid of that "error", set your sound card to 44Khz (from Audio Midi Setup)

ah ok it's performing fine, just didn't seem right i'll hang fire until the next beta build.
