Topic: Difference in VDJ script between ver 7 and 8

I'm looking for detaild documentation how the differences between VDJ script works between ver 7 and 8.
I have finally jumped into the world of ver 8 and I am positively surprised really. The new functions, loop save, POI editor is really good stuff that I enjoy.
Well. Since I am mapping my HC4500 controller, I have noticed that my old mapping which workedin ver 7, does not act the same way in ver 8.
No big deal - As ver 8 come my way now I see other great functions to map.
What I would like is, a description of the script actions for ver 8 and preferably some documentation what differs between 7 and 8. If there is such docs.

I searched in the wiki but all I could find was the VDJ script examples...

More or less all ver 7 scripts should work in version 8 too. In most of the cases we secured backwards compatibility.
If you find something that was working in version 7 but not in version 8, please let us know.
 
Recording to slots, sample 50% XD

Seriously I think I remember calling FX needed to be rewritten, I don't have the V7 mapping anymore, maybe my V7 was suspect.
 
yes, since the Sampler in version 8 is widely different than the ver 7 one, some of the ver 7 Sampler actions may not work, but the basics should.
