I know I must be missing something really easy but how do you control which deck the automix function occurs on? I want it on the right and it always sets itself up on the left.

Automix will be enabled on the Master deck (which in most cases its the deck that plays out on Master).
If you wish to force Automix on a certain deck, you can still use the action .. deck x automix (where x is the deck u wish Automix to engage) assigned to a custom or keyboard button.

I usually build my automix playlist, then take the first song and put it in a deck. I start playing that deck. It makes it the master/active deck by doing so, then I start the automix.
