I have had nothing but problems with Mac/VDJ 7/8. 7 is completely unusable, 8 has issues with Karaoke zip files.
If you have been able to get it working please tell us the tricks that you need to know to get it running solid!

I'v played a few times just to see if it will work and had no problem with the system. At first it did not work using the USB ports, so i plug into the lightning bolt port and it work fine with no problems. Hope this help, good luck.....

Run VDJ8 with Macbook Pro retina 2014 and external LaCie hardrive plugged into thunderbolt. Runs brilliantly, no glitches no hanging. My karaoke files are all mp4 though.....

I use CD+G ZIPs. No issues. Over 80k files as well. 2 shows week with karaoke.

I also mapped Dicers and some keyboard actions to add to karaoke list and edit singer info.
